Murder on the Storm Frequency

A massive oak desk was found flipped upside down in the middle of the cabin (the crime scene). Jammed beneath its immense weight is an intact mechanical music box. The box is programmed to automatically open its lid and play a tune every day at exactly 16:00. The lid is completely closed and tightly jammed due to the weight of the desk on top of it.

A mechanical pocket watch belonging to the victim was found smashed next to the body, its hands completely stopped at 16:20. However, the winding crown (the small side button) is pulled out to the 'time-setting' position.

The isolated cabin has a wireless internet network (Cabin-WiFi) that is completely separate and independent from the main lodge's network (Lodge-WiFi). The cabin's router log shows that a laptop connected to the cabin's network from 15:50 to 16:45, continuously transmitting high-quality video data (live stream) throughout that entire period.

A sudden, violent hail and rainstorm hit the area from 15:55 to 16:15. The distance between the cabin and the main lodge is 50 meters in the open. Anyone walking through it during the storm would be completely soaked and show visible bruises from the hail.

The light-colored entrance rug inside the cabin (the crime scene) is completely clean and dry. There are no traces of water drops or mud on it, even though the soil outside turns into sticky mud the moment it rains.

Two empty wine glasses and a half-smoked cigar with lipstick marks were found hidden inside the old, abandoned shed in the garden.

A piece of blue billiard chalk was found crushed and trampled into the rug of the victim's private bedroom inside the main lodge (very far from the game room).

A rare gold wristwatch belonging to the victim was found carefully hidden inside a pair of folded socks in the dresser drawer of 'Guest Room 2' in the main lodge.
